    When you’re with us, you’re close to the action, you’re involved in writing big and small event stories and you’re behind the scenes when stars and VIPs are very human.
    And it’s always sporty with us: not only in locations like the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. At big festivals and sporting events, you’re always on the move, pushing yourself – and us together – to our limits. If need be, even beyond that! For you and us, the focus is always on people and their emotions!

    ->Salesperson
    Here you also have to be able to take a beating. If pain is your fuel, then join us at the checkout. With coolness and a smile, you’ll put everyone in their pocket, take orders and sell not only the entire menu to the visitors, but also put drinks on top.

    ->Mobile salesperson
    Start training for your first half marathon. Every metre counts here! Among tens of thousands of people, you sell the stuff that keeps the crowd going. Let them cheer you on as you run between the stadium stands and bring pretzels or drinks to the guests. Because every pretzel/drink is your (commission) profit! Ready for the marathon?

    ->Tapper
    Every beer is an art: If you are at least 18 years old, you can stand at the tap and show that you don’t need seven minutes for a good beer. You don’t need a diploma yet, but you’ll get a smile every 11 seconds for your experience.

    ->Drink Juggler
    Scissors, stone, a few beers – for you, the bar is your turf. With you, the guests get the material for energy, emotions or stamina. Be a speedster, but stay clean!

    ->Griller*in – food handler
    It’s a well-known fact that heat is the best cure for pain. If you want to break a sweat, then get on the cooker! In addition to meatballs, curry sausage and chips, we also fry a lot more in our food range. And the whole thing is also vegan and vegetarian. Our only question is: Are you strong enough for our grill?

    TO ALL EMERGING DANCE ARTISTS BASED IN BERLIN

    Every new year, the Tanztage Berlin is not only the city’s very first festival, it has also established itself nationally and internationally as an important platform for emerging dance artists since its founding in 1996. The next edition of Tanztage Berlin will once again take place under the artistic direction of Mateusz Szymanówka. The festival is currently planned for 5-21 January 2023 – however, the form as well as the exact date will depend on the constant reassessment of the pandemic. The festival offers emerging dance artists based in Berlin a framework for their new productions and revivals.

    The program of the last two editions can be found at: https://tanztage-berlin.sophiensaele.com/en/

    In the Tanztage Berlin podcast you can hear more about the history of the festival: https://tanztage-berlin.sophiensaele.com/en/on-demand/plotting-futures-together-happy-birthday-tanztage/

    APPLICATIONS FOR PREMIERES AND REVIVALS

    1. MODULE: PREMIERES

    With Tanztage Berlin, we want to support ways of working that represent as diverse a range of lifeworlds and experiences as possible. We therefore welcome applications from people with and without disabilities, with marginalised perspectives and projects with diverse, cross-age casts. We accept applications with productions that can be presented in the festival in different formats, such as stage performance, online performance, durational performance, installation, video. The majority of the works during Tanztage Berlin will be presented as double bills.

    Our team has entered a process of transformation and is dealing with ways of thinking and working that are inclusive, criticize power structures, and are sensitive towards discrimination. Currently, the majority of our staff are white and non-disabled. We are aware that this can be a challenging situation for BIPoC and people with disabilities who start working with us. You are welcome to make statements in your application concerning your positioning, if you wish to do so.
